Straight from the

2004
was a great year.
The Howran family had a lot of
fun traveling to various shows in Canada and the United States.
Here are some pics of Fandango from the 2004 Canadian All Welsh show, where Fandango
was GRAND CHAMPION Sec. B under Judge Daniel Morgan of the Parc Stud in Wales.

*Cottrell Rose Princess arrived
in the Spring of 2004 at Howran Hills Farm after a long wait.
She was an instant favourite of the girls, with her flashy markings.
It was wonderful to see her step from the
transporter's trailer.
She is a full sister to *Cottrell Faberge and *Cottrell
Royal Consort. She has been bred to Las Brisas Fandango
for a 2005 foal. If a filly, this foal is already spoken for.

During 2004, we put our 4 yr old part-cob "MacKeeba" under saddle. She is being schooled and brought
on by her young rider, who is enjoying her thoroughly. They performed well in a couple of schooling
shows in the fall and MacKeeba got exposure to "loud speakers", riding in the rain and hail and
generally all the other things that go along with showing. She took it all in stride. A Great Pony!

Pony Club occupied endless hours with shows and working rally and Prince Philip Games (PPGs).
E ven
with all of this, we found time for "horsing around".
Check out these costumes.

To wrap up the year 2004, we attended the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto with 3 ponies in our
show string: Las Brisas Fandango, our stallion, Zia's Tattered Lace, his daughter and E.J.'s
gelding son, Rambo. The girls had a glorious time and Zia's Tattered Lace was awarded 1st Place
in her mare class. Rambo and Fandango were both qualified for the Champion of Champions Class.
It was a wonderful time with friends and ponies!
